Parent - - By Trinity (Troublemaker) Date 2007-11-17 8:52 AM

Parent - - By joerunner (100 mile stud) Date 2007-11-17 8:53 AM
That is what I'm supposed to be doing right now(coming up with a plan).
Parent - - By Trinity (Troublemaker) Date 2007-11-17 8:54 AM
you don't know yet where you're going?
Parent - - By joerunner (100 mile stud) Date 2007-11-17 8:55 AM
No.    Help me?
Parent - - By Trinity (Troublemaker) Date 2007-11-17 8:56 AM
I don't know your area:laugh:

what kind of plan are you supposed to come up with?
Parent - - By joerunner (100 mile stud) Date 2007-11-17 8:57 AM
I'm not sure but I think it involves a trail and some mountains.  Oh and some rain.: pbbt:
Parent - - By Trinity (Troublemaker) Date 2007-11-17 8:58 AM
btw I didn't know you're only 6 miles away from Buckaroo:grin:  how come you guys don't run together?
Parent - - By joerunner (100 mile stud) Date 2007-11-17 9:00 AM
I have run with Buck.  Buck is kind of a lone wolf kind of guy a rebel of sorts.  Somewhat on a legendary scale around these parts.
Parent - - By Trinity (Troublemaker) Date 2007-11-17 9:02 AM
really?:shocker!: so buckaroo is famous eh?

so come on, tell me already where you're going running!!!: pbbt:
Parent - - By joerunner (100 mile stud) Date 2007-11-17 9:05 AM
Since I'm using up all my research time here talking with you:mutmad: I guess we will have to go do the old standby loop which is called angels rest to devils peak.
Parent - - By Trinity (Troublemaker) Date 2007-11-17 9:08 AM
ooh that's the peak where you took a picture of rudy standing and looking out at the view:grin:

I lost that picture too:cry::mutmad:

I need to buy new trail shoes.  I accidentally left mine outside for a few days and it rained and it got all yucky:blush:
Parent - - By joerunner (100 mile stud) Date 2007-11-17 9:10 AM
I'm sorry about your shoes.
Parent - - By Trinity (Troublemaker) Date 2007-11-17 9:12 AM
do you think I should try something other than the Salomons?:wtf:  I really like how they're light but sometimes the wires feel too tight on top of my feet:wtf:
Parent - - By sheepWolfsheep (avocados:x) Date 2007-11-17 9:13 AM
try inov8s  I love mine
Parent - - By Trinity (Troublemaker) Date 2007-11-17 9:15 AM
you're the one who talked me in to the Solomons:mutmad:  but I still love them:hug:

do you have to order them online or do some stores carry them?  and which model?
Parent - - By sheepWolfsheep (avocados:x) Date 2007-11-17 9:16 AM
I liked the salomons but I think the inov8s are better for me they are really minamalist.  REI has them
Parent - By Trinity (Troublemaker) Date 2007-11-17 9:17 AM
yeah! I'm going to REI:grin:

but which model?
Parent - - By joerunner (100 mile stud) Date 2007-11-17 9:16 AM
I talked you into salomons?:wtf:  I have never worn salomons.  My buddy did and had problems with the lacing.
Parent - - By Trinity (Troublemaker) Date 2007-11-17 9:17 AM
no sheep talked me into them.  yeah, the wires/lacing definitely sucks.
Parent - - By sheepWolfsheep (avocados:x) Date 2007-11-17 9:18 AM
I had no problems with the lacing system in fact I liked it.  wore them for a whole year and two 50 milers
Parent - - By Trinity (Troublemaker) Date 2007-11-17 9:19 AM
maybe my feet's the problem:sad:
Parent - By joerunner (100 mile stud) Date 2007-11-17 9:23 AM
Why?  Do they smell funny?: pbbt:
Parent - - By joerunner (100 mile stud) Date 2007-11-17 9:14 AM
I don't know.  I'm still trying to find a good shoe.  I like the brooks cascadia's.  Maybe those would work for you too.
Parent - - By Trinity (Troublemaker) Date 2007-11-17 9:15 AM
does REI carry them?  I think it's time for a trip to my favorite store:grin:
Parent - By joerunner (100 mile stud) Date 2007-11-17 9:17 AM
I don't know if rei carries them.  I bought mine online at Al's.
Parent - - By Trinity (Troublemaker) Date 2007-11-17 8:53 AM
and how long is the run?
and what do you have packed?
Parent - - By joerunner (100 mile stud) Date 2007-11-17 8:54 AM
Oh I'm woefully out of shape right now so maybe 14 slow miles.  If I go longer then rudy would have to stay home.  I'm going to pack some water and some cliff bars.  How is your weather?
Parent - - By Trinity (Troublemaker) Date 2007-11-17 8:56 AM
I haven't even looked outside yet:laugh:

ok it looks kinda cloudy right now and it feels cold:shocker!:
Parent - - By joerunner (100 mile stud) Date 2007-11-17 8:58 AM
Sounds like you need to go back to Florida.
Parent - - By Trinity (Troublemaker) Date 2007-11-17 8:58 AM

Parent - - By joerunner (100 mile stud) Date 2007-11-17 9:01 AM

Parent - - By Trinity (Troublemaker) Date 2007-11-17 9:04 AM

It's raining.<---joe forcing a smile:sad:
Parent - - By Trinity (Troublemaker) Date 2007-11-17 9:03 AM
I like running in the rain:grin:

do you guys have mud run races over there?  I'd love to do one there.  will you run one with me?
Parent - - By joerunner (100 mile stud) Date 2007-11-17 9:07 AM
For mud races you need hot weather and a fire hose.  We have cold weather and natural mud which doesn't bode well.  The consistency is all wrong.
Parent - - By Trinity (Troublemaker) Date 2007-11-17 9:09 AM
so how do you know so much about mud races:laugh::wtf:

you mean it doesn't get hot there at all?  when does the peach picking season start?
Parent - - By joerunner (100 mile stud) Date 2007-11-17 9:12 AM
I know a little something about somethin.  (Robert Deniro in "This boys life")

It gets hot here in the Summer but we have too much clay in our dirt to make good California type mud.
Parent - - By Trinity (Troublemaker) Date 2007-11-17 9:14 AM
I thought clay makes good mud:wtf::roll:

whatever.  I think you're just making up another excuse to not run with me:roll::mutmad:
Parent - - By joerunner (100 mile stud) Date 2007-11-17 9:19 AM
I don't run with you because you are a lone wolf of sorts and kind of a legend in your community.
Parent - - By Trinity (Troublemaker) Date 2007-11-17 9:20 AM
:roll: I'm going to force you to run with me:grin:
Parent - - By joerunner (100 mile stud) Date 2007-11-17 9:22 AM

Parent - - By Trinity (Troublemaker) Date 2007-11-17 9:16 AM
what's mud got to do with coffee:wtf:
Parent - - By joerunner (100 mile stud) Date 2007-11-17 9:18 AM
If coffee is strong and old, (like me) sometimes its refered to as mud.  Personally I like my coffee black and rich (like you).
