I finished the swim in 41 minutes, it was 3 hours and 15 minutes by the time I enter T2, which in a very normal way i could have run 9 minute miles and maybe finish very close to 5 hours. But mile 3 my hamstring gave up again, and by the time I reach the aid station it was painful to walk. well there is always a next time ;) 4 more races to go, I got plenty of time to fix myself :D

Recover froma 10 mile walk? : pbbt: I did a 35 mile bike ride last night already. I am mad to myself, i was very weak on the swim and OK on the bike, I skipped the run this year almost never trained, I was able to do the olympic races but this one was too much of a distance for me to run without training. I have done the bike course 4 times before the race, I know exactly where to speed up, where the hills are every single mile. I even studied the last 5 mile climb with different paces. Never crossed my mind to look at the run course, or at least train for it. Now looking back, since last novembers ulra marathon i've done only 1 long run about 10 miles, that's it. My weekly bike average is 300 miles and guess what? my weekly run is about 15 miles. Now back to running.
Are you doing pleasant prairie? it is a great race, i'd recommend it!!!

A week before Accenture, when the air and water show in on. it is a good excuse to get out of the city. Goodie bag is the best in the world!!! Bag itself is actually a transition bag! Bike course is flat, even if you are doing accenture like me you can do this, swim is in a closed lake which could be a non-wetsuit swim.

I'll see if I can still enter.  It might be too late.
