Can we make it through a 5-day week?  It's already Friday Eve so it is possible!

What's Up?

Abbreviated workout at the gym today. Some ARC trainer and then some quick weights. I wanted to work out before starting job-work, but I was running late so I did a mini-version of a workout.

I was feeling rundown yesterday so I turned off my alarm last night and allowed myself to sleep in a little extra, then I finished a book when I got up. By the time I left for the gym I was running late.

And now it is time to see how long my brain will function at the job.

Sorry about messing up the date.  I thought I typed 1/10/2019.  Maybe my zero was stuck?  Yeah, that's what it was. The "0" key was stuck.

Well, maybe someone will restart the daily with the right heading.

I didn't even notice the date!  So maybe you just want to start the new year again.

I might make it outside for a run.  It is 18 degrees but I just saw my neighbor head out for her 4 miler.  I guess I can too.

Have a good day everyone!

Baby it's cold outside.  It was at 14 windchill this morning so I thought I would run shorter than normal, but once I got going I wanted to keep going and finished up with 8 miles.

Makayla drove to Louisville yesterday evening for a church community outreach.  I woke up at 11:44 last night and she still wasn't home.  I can't relax when she's out late like that.  Finally at 12:20 I called her and she was just a couple of miles from home.  I was up with her in the middle of the night when she was a year old and still up because of her at 19 years old.

I plan to lift some weights at the gym after school today.

This 5-day work week has gone by really quick for me.  They all do.

During Christmas Lisa and Jacob got home with Jacob's cousin John in tow just as I was going to bed.  "We're going out for a late night bite to eat mom, go to bed, we'll be back soon."  So I woke up after midnight and had not heard them come home.  Tip toed out to the kitchen and saw that their car was home and crawled back in bed.  And then I thought, oh wait, maybe they're in John's car and really not home.

Tip toed back out to the kitchen and found their shoes by the back door.  Crawled back in bed but then thought what if they changed shoes?   Went back out to the kitchen, found their winter coats hanging by the back door and thought Yes, they're home!  And finally went to bed for a good night's sleep.    Really Mike, it never ends!

I would probably do the same thing.  Thanks for the warning.
