If you're racing this long holiday weekend or during the coming week, let everyone know about it!
Race name / distance
2019-01-03 8:20 AM
New Years Eve One Day / 6 Hours
Crissy Field in San Francisco
1/5/19 (the race director couldn't get a permit for 12/31/18)
My primary goal is to pick up enough points to move into second place in my age group in the year long point series. I believe I shall do that easily. I could place as low as fifth in my age group and still move into second. My thoughts initially were that I could get 36+ miles covered. Then I saw the forecast is for rain and gusty wind, so that might dent my chances.

Good luck! I'll be stalking, I mean, following you.

After posting that I found out that soundandjenny are taking part as a two person 24 hour relay team. So I get to see them again.
Salem Lakeshore Frosty 25K.
Salem Lake in Winston-Salem NC
Run a decent race for me. This is a "trial" race to see what kind of pace I can do. I've been doing faster (for me that is, nothing to get excited about) training runs on my neighborhood hills and I want to find out if I can do that in a race.
Oh, and not fall down or die.

I would appreciate it if you did not die and please don't fall down either.
Hope it goes really well for you!
Good luck! That course could be sloppy. Please don't fall and die!
I'll try not to.
Yep, we have had plenty of rain for a nice muddy mess.

That’s one of my favorite places to run. I need to go back and do that race again some year.
