That is just the GM jobs.  The suppliers will also be hit as well as the local businesses near the plant and the suppliers.

Our government bailed the auto industry out to the tune of about $3.5 billion a few years back.....and then they wrote off the loan earlier this year without disclosing the amount owing (assumed to be $1.2 billion)
Seems like a good business for GM......not so much for their workers/families and all the people down the line supplying shit to GM.

I'm wondering if the Chevy Traverse will be continued.  I am guessing yes, since it is a SUV.

I'll miss the Impala.  I like the new model. 

Not too keen on self driving cars, though.
