Do you listen to music when you run/workout?

10.68m was supposed to be 15.

Pain in right knee started at mile 3.5 off and on. Stopped. Came back at 7.5. Off and on. Came back at 9.5 and I ran until my mom picked me up.

IT Band. Never had this pain before. Had to look it up. But as I'm walking around today I do feel like I've felt it before but didn't know what it was. Though it was a 2-3 before and now it is more like 6-7 on the pain scale.

Great. Of course. And I was so rocking my run yesterday. I was killing it. And now to think I've over done it and have to step back. Again. Wtfe. Guess I'll do tons of stretching and core.

For the majority of my runs I do...For workouts I don't...

I'm so bored on the stupid bike trainer I've actually been listening to podcasts which seems to help....

45 mins on the bike trainer for me today....

At least you are doing the trainer! I've recently gotten into podcasts. They can be pretty interesting. But so far I don't have a good pool of them to listen to. Which ones do you listen to?

It depends what kind of mood I'm in....If I want sports and want to laugh I'll listen to Jim Rome...I listen to Bob Lefsetz a lot for my music geek stuff...I try to stay away from anything dark or heavy

I haven't gotten into podcasts.  Yet.  But a couple of the artists I like have them, so I keep saying I'm going to give it a try.

Nice job on the trainer.

I do listen to music most of the time when I run outdoors.  On the treadmill I watch tv.  I never have music when I race.  Of the 60 some marathons I've run, I've brought and listened to music only once.

Yesterday was such a great day of running for me.  Everything felt great and strong and fast.  I pretty much expected dead legs and a rough one today.  But yesterday was so great, I was really hoping for more please.  I got what I expected not what I hoped.  : pbbt:  A pretty rough, heavy legged 6.5 on the mill for me this morning.

Another 6.5 tonight. That was a hard one. I did retire 2 pairs of shoes in the past 5 days so I got to go shopping for more shoes.  I found a great deal on one of my pairs and you know that always feels good.

I have a new pair of shoes in the box but since I barely run I'm not wearing out the current 2 pairs very quickly : pbbt:

You could still throw them into rotation. :enabler:
