I think I'm getting to the bottom of this insane dead leg deal I'm battling....After non running for 3 days straight, I couldn't resist the 50 degree temps and I went out to run.  2 miles in I felt the very heavy legs but my HR was 127 and I was running 7:10 miles.  then all of a sudden my back completely seized up.  Like I got shot.  There was no warning.  I had to walk home. my  legs felt even heavier and dead just walking.  I think this is some kind of back/nerve deal and maybe that can help explain the dead heavy legs over these last few weeks...Either way, I need to get some help!

I hope that explains it and you can get it worked out. Will you be seeing someone for it?

Oh man.  I'm so sorry.  I hope you can find someone/thing to help.

20.2 miles this morning on the mill.  My hip was sore in the night, but I never felt it after mile 3.  We'll see how it is post run.  It never bothers me running.  Mostly I notice it sitting or after getting up from sitting.  :wtf:  This run definitely went better than last week, in spite of deader legs.

Nice job on the run.  Every year, around harvest time I notice how very open it is in the country with no tall fields any more, in cases of emergencies when I'd give anything for a port a potty or a corn field.
