It's Wednesday...almost to the weekend!

What's happening in your neck of the woods?

3 sets of a core workout this morning. Then a few squats and lunges. Rest day from running.

Still fighting the leaking chimney but making progress. We tore apart the front of the fireplace and took out all the old fake logs. I put a plastic storage container in the fireplace to catch most the water.

I put in a work order at the condo to get the leak fixed, and I also notified the roofing company (even though they said it wasn't their problem), and I have a guy coming in to check things out for me who will also install a new insert for us with better fake logs.  Between those 3 avenues I think this thing will get fixed.

Big storm with straight-line winds over 80mph hit yesterday just as I was planning to leave for Amy's.   We have rescheduled for today.

As Midwest storms do, this one dropped the temps 20 degrees.  It is 47 this morning.  I'll wait for it to warm up just alittle before my run.  It is good not to have to run early to avoid the heat.

Have a good Amy visit.

My neck of woods is still dreary and muggy.   I don't know how Rob does 15 miles in this stuff.  My short run was pretty sucky.  I'll give it 3 out of 10.  Though I'm not sure it would have been much better in cool dry air.

Daughter Ellen arrives tomorrow with the two youngest grandsons, Isaac 9 and Nathanial 8mo.:grin::grin:.   They are flying to Baltimore and stay for a week.  Planning a few field trips for Isaac who is home schooled.
