Trying for optimism here, but man I feel for you.
Nationals is in 6 weeks but it’s been a few weeks of just crazy bad luck that I’ve been trying to run through. I don’t want to go to nationals unless I know I can actually compete. I know my time will come, but I may have to wait another year.
I’m so bummed but with all I have going on in my life, it doesn’t really help to feel that way for too long. We just have to stay after it. Better things are ahead for sure !
That’s a bummer. I understand wanting to be at your best for nationals. This time of year must almost feel cursed for you.

It truly does...I just don't get it...I know that my life is pretty stressful with everything going on with Jameson but this is just crazy

It’s pathetic. I should be doing this under the cover of darkness. People think the fat guy is running from a mugger or something. Or they ask “Are you ok?????”

Man I can’t stand up straight this week and I see people running and I just want to do that. You are doing that and you know more about running than most people could imagine!

Sounds like a terrible idea
I brought up marathon guide tonight before my run to see what is available the 2 weekends I have free. I didn’t decide on anything, but it did serve as some mighty fine motivation.
10.1 treadmill miles with 6x400 little hill repeats. I felt a lot stronger than last week when I did them. I actually recovered during the recovery versus last week when my heart rate never came back down.
I love this! I was looking at options today as well and it’s amazing how motivating or uplifting that can be!
You are going to destroy your next marathon!
