Tuesday I was out the trail for a nice 35 minute run. No ospreys. They may have fledged and be out learning to fish.
Today I’m off to cook and neat stuff up. Run and additional XT this morning. Possible storms so I’ll have to either go out early or do the TM. Not sure. I am so over most of summer.
Happy runs, All!
We had wicked storms last night. Enjoy your day!
I did not feel like getting out of bed this morning. I have a later work start time today. My toe felt good yesterday, but this morning it was sore. I guess sleeping and blankets cause it to get cranky. Pushed myself to do some core and strength work, although it wasn't a lot. I need to figure out some more things to do. My pushups are getting better, and I should do them more often.
The toe might feel better if it can stick out away from the covers during the night.
I also need to figure out things to do and a schedule to do them. My days go so darned fast.
Keeping covers off a broken toe is helpful, yeah. You can make a tent around your injured foot by putting a bit pillow at the foot of the bed, enough to lift the weight of the covers off your toe.
Are there people who wake up in the morning and feel like getting out of bed? I mean, is that a thing?

Swam today. Felt really good. Pushed hard. I've been on light exercise for the past three weeks due to some respiratory infection. Feels good to move the body again!
I hope you are feeling much better. I love the underwater picture on FB.
hi friends! keeping up with my power walks as I prepare for comps, which are next week (8/13 and 8/17). Feeling pretty okay about them, but at other times freaking out and wanting to cry
probably pretty normal. 5.5 today, plus some planking, lunging, and squatting. 31 weeks tomorrow
You will crush the comps.
SDO, but plenty of cross-training as I spent the entire day outside. I did come in midday for a bite to eat, but otherwise was outside from 8:30 or so until after 5pm. I spent half the day mowing, then spent the rest of the day weeding and hand edging (i.e. digging out grass and weeds). It's murderously hot out, especially in the sun, but hey, there are screaming children inside.
There's also beef stew for supper, so I'm listening to Judas Priest and not bothering with the rest of the world right now.
Beef stew, yummy! That's a lot of cross training.
I've been vegetarian for 15+ years, so I am less excited by an offer of beef stew.
