1.5 miles. We meant for it to be 3-4. When we went out we heard thunder. And still went out. We were running at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield park. We were out about .75 miles when it went dark and super windy. We heard some really creepy things and decided to turn back. When we got almost back to the memorial of the section we were running, there was a massive tree down over the trail that we had NOT climbed over on the way out. :shocker!: That must have been the biggest sound we heard. It never did rain though. But the wind, dark, and thunder were impressive.

I told my mom as we were going out "God is probably sitting there thinking 'I've giving you warnings and you are ignoring it'. Try this out for size BANG (lightning 50 feet away)' LOL. Cause I thought we were kind of dumb going out, but it was freaking sunny when we left. The thunder was far away!:laugh:

After the darkness and wind I was glad to get back to the car.

97% humidity....I knew I was in trouble when all of the windows were fogged up in the house when I got up.....

2 mile warm up
2x mile at 5:45 with 90 sec recoveries
8x200 not all out but somewhat uncomfortable with 30 sec recoveries
2 miles at 6:14

My shoes were all sloshing around with the sweat....I don't want to whine but it's hard running in this stuff

6.7 miles on the treadmill. I did get the dog out for an abbreviated walk before the run. There’s a lake in one of the corn fields that wasn’t there yesterday. :shocker!:  More storms rolled through as I was finishing my treadmill run. What a gross weather week. :meh:
