Ok, so do I just run when I feel like it and start back where I was at a 9 mile long run?
Or is there a specific amount of time I should take off to recover. TBH, I feel like a short 2-3 mile run tomorrow would be nice, but I probably won't have time until Thursday.
I think a short run Thursday would be great. I would suggest just short runs for a week or two and then resume your normal schedule. If you wanted to bump your long run up a couple miles you probably could. I’d suggest erring on the side of caution for a few weeks. Right after a big race is a high injury risk time.
Well I have to run with mom and she is only at ten so that is where I would be. But I was thinking about doing Greg’s thing and add a couple miles and repeat that distance before adding another couple. Just for something different.
