Up and at 'em this morning. 5.7 miles this morning. It felt pretty decent. It's only supposed to get worse as the week goes on, so I figured I'd best take advantage of this morning. Granted I was still flinging sweat off the ole fingertips by mile 2, but compared to how it's supposed to be say tomorrow morning, this was pretty nice.
I never realized how busy the country roads are out here at 6 am. The things you learn when get out early.

Off tomorrow so hopefully I can get out early too. It'll be treadmill today with heat index at 105
If I run again tonight, I'll be on the treadmill for sure as well.
Today was rough...87 degrees and oppressive humidity....I wanted to keep the HR down as long as possible...It settled in at 131 bpm for the first few miles but then the heat started to take its toll and it ramped up into the 160's which still isn't that high for me when I'm working out but I started feeling really woozy with the heat...I then threw up...that's a new one...7.2 miles for me at 7:14 overall pace and I'm feeling ROUGH....
Oh man how miserable.
Hydrate well and stay in the AC. I hope the crappy feeling doesn’t linger all day.

Boy that doesn't sound good.
Take care of yourself man
Thanks guys....I had a rough few hours when I first got into work but I'm fine now. That was kinda nuts....
I’m glad to hear you’re feeling better.
it was beautiful here early.. put me down for a pre 4th 5 miles on the Prairie Path (compacted crushed gravel .. so sweet)
there is this crazy protective red winged blackbird that dives bombs and yells at you for about 40 yards of the path .. it's hilarious
once you get over the wth was that
than it becomes kind of a game of bait and try to catch
twas a good morning run
Glad you had a good one today. Too funny about the blackbird. It’s probably regretting the nest placement.

Crazy birds crack me up. We have a few of them as well in the park here!
