Nice job on the soccer winning, which by all accounts was very exciting for those who watched it
it was cra-azy
That last counter attack was bonkers.
Maybe not the first 45 minutes, but the second half sure made up for it
I love Belgium and not just because of the Toblerone*.
Nice win...hope glorious England can advance tomorrow
* I know toblerone is Swiss so piss off
Better than Finland at least. Especially when pony trekking.
Yes and one can only eat so much pickled herring
I could eat my body weight in pickled herring.
That isn't very much!
all of the herring in the Black Sea could fit in my derriere.
If both England and Switzerland win their 8ths you can take their Toblerone in the quarters
Yes and wash it down with a delicious glass of Stella Artois*!!!
* yeah it was funny the first time (and even at that barely funny)
I guess I will just settle for listening to ABBA
Let's hope we see some football at least
That was a sad display
Yes I hope they feel the beat from the tambourine, oh yeah, You can dance
You can jive Having the time of your life.
As for you...You're a teaser, you turn 'em on
Leave 'em burning and then you're gone
Mamma Mia that was a good one
Congrats to Belgium on the World Cup win! I saw some snippets of the second half, including the tying goal. Quite a game!
I have no merit whatsoever in their win but will gladly accept the congratulations
Celebrate anyway! It's your country's team, you should be proud of them.
Brazil is going to be a formidable opponent. Good luck!
they calculated that Neymar already spend 14 minutes rolling around on the floor this World Cup
It’s kind of ridiculous. The guy is a great player, but he needs to stop with the “Owwwww!!!! He kicked me and I’m dying!!!” theatrics.
He can stop for awhile now
100s of US Soccer fans are rejoicing! (quoting RWO there...)
and millions of undocumented immigrants
Taking all my soccer jobs!!!
All foreign soccer fans are hooligans anyway.

Japan is the most awesome place ever.

I really want to go
We went last Christmas and I am dying to go back. We went by ourselves, not on a tour which is how I would recommend doing it - although there is not too much English anywhere (including Tokyo). Everything was amazing- the natural beauty, the traditions, the culture, the people, and the food. You won't want to leave.
would you recommend a tour or by myself, wasn't clear to me
I was already checking for toured travels, but you have to book too much in advance, I'd rather just book a month or two in advance max.
sorry, my sentence was very unclear. If you are a seasoned traveler, I don't think you need a tour. We managed just fine just by studying the subway maps in advance and relying on the amazing kindness of the Japanese people. My kid did learn some Japanese which was helpful, but I think you can do it without language skills.

Wow! Congratulations again to the Belgium men's soccer team! Beating Brazil is the real deal.
Congratulations to Belgium on a great World Cup.
Well, what did we actually do?
Beat a couple of countries we're supposed to beat (not counting the group stage game against England where both B teams played), and a great win against Brazil.
Still, a great campaign and attractive football (compared to most other teams), but there was more to get out of it than a semi-final IMO.
I hope we can keep this level up for awhile to perform as well in coming tournaments.
Euro 2020 should still be good, but for the next World Cup there will probably be a couple of guys pushing 30 retiring (Kompany, Fellani, Vermaelen, Vertonghen, ...).
