Hello Masters, whatcha up to this weekend.
4-5 miles PWs for me this past week.
Wife and I are off to Las Vegas this coming Monday for the whole week in Las Vegas, attending my wife's 50th High School Reunion.
Have a good weekend, and next week.
C Ya Later.

Is that $20 per bet ?
Hi all. Jim, thanks for the start.
Took Misha to the trails today and was nearly eaten alive by bugs. Tis the season. Received an enormous medical bill from the hospital. My insurance company's website is down for a records upgrade and the patient billing specialist at the hospital has no access to patient billing info on the weekend
so I will try to put it out of my mind until Monday. If the bill is correct I will need to sell one of my children to pay it.
Need to hang a load of laundry out on the line, do my yoga, and get ready for Saturday night mass. Have a good time in Vegas Jim, and the rest of you have vegas-free-good-weekend.
Dave is taking care of the insurance being down. He get right on a new install after his run. If you send him a bunch of Reeses Cups he will wipe away all of your worries.
I thought about working some today but changed my mind when I heard about these insurance problems.
What I don't know can't worry me.
Have fun in Vegas!! Enjoy that new baby!!!
Oh noooooo! I hate when I get huge unexpected hospital bills.Yikes!!! Keeping fingers crossed for you.
Ran nearly 3 miles this morning last 3/4 was on a trail, a hill trail. Before the rain set in. It's terrible when you start learning about invasive plants, running along... you're invasive, your'e invasive and you! Next Saturday is my first post BC run with my boy. It is a 5K trail run, so I'm hoping to get through that.
And since I'm starting a new running life anything will be a PR!!
I met my 5 year old neighbor today. What a talker. So cute. We still have a swingset in the yard so it's kind of a magnet. Loved hanging out with her though. Mom was worried she was being a problem.
Have a great day and weekend all!!
Deb, I have hit reset on all my PRs as well :)
Good job on the 3 miles.
5 year olds can really do the stream-of-conciousness things. I love how their minds can skip from topic to topic.

Thanks. Looking forward to running in a race again it feels like a life time ago.
Yes! I love how open they are. No filters. Her mom kept apologising but I loved it. So curious!
It's still raining.
I got out yesterday during a pause and slopped the mower around the yard. I was afraid that if I waited until the sun came out I would need a herd of sheep. My shoes were caked with cut grass?
I have no desire to go go run in a damp drizzle. Radar shows more heavier rain coming.
Surprised no wedding talk.
Preakness will be a sloppy mess.

I'm trying my best to send you some used Illinois weather, it just isn't working.

I hear ya! Hope you get some nicer weather.
I’m so tired of the wedding.
glad there is none of it here.
HOwdy Jim and others,
Busy couple of days, but not much running.
Wednesday was lost to Sinus headache.
Thursday was Band/Orchestra concert for Katy's school. Katy plays Baritone horn in the band. It was a fun concert. But I must admit that Bugs Bunny has ruined the Overture from the Barber of Seville. I start giggling every time I hear it.
Friday was the Band/Chorus/Orchestra for Rebecca's school. She plays viola in the orchestra, percussion in the band and sings Alto in the chorus. The band got high honors at a band competition in Boston this year. Another fun concert. But I must admit that Alan Sherman has ruined The Dance of the Hours from La Gioconda. It is the tune for his song "Camp Grenada".
It looked like rain was going to derail my run today. But it was just a drizzle so got in 3.15 miles of muddy trail run while Katy had her riding lesson. Lots of not so clean fun.
Now I'm chillin' - eating way too many Jalepeno potato chips and listening to the Eurythmics.
The life of a busy dad. Sounds good Mark, all of it.
Yep. I agree Dawn. Well, except the sinus headache. I could do without that

I thought about editing my post because of your headache but then decided you were man enough to take it.

Sounds like a good few days minus the headache. And the missing run op. But yay on trail run.
What is with the jalapeño chips? My son posted a pic on FB about eating kale pens chips.

Now I've switch to Bossa Nova songs with Astrud Gilbert.
I was up early to catch the royal wedding and then I met my brothers for breakfast. I am ready for a nap!
Have a HOA board meeting to attend and then a party afterwards. Glad this part is about to be over.
No workout yet. Maybe I can do something later, doubt it though.
Enjoy your afternoon!

Busy Day! Have an appropriate amount of fun at each.
I woke up early (5:00) so I got up and ran 3 in the neighborhood. Because of the narrow, curvy roads I only run them if I'm up early on the weekend. I didn't see a car during the whole run. That's a first.
Coffee and book study came next. Then I picked up some groceries, got my hair cut, made a pizza for lunch and ate too much.
Next up was binge watching the last 4 episodes of Shetland season 4 on Britbox. That was 4 hours of TV, but it is a fantastic show and it was worth it. (If you don't have Britbox you can check out the first 3 seasons on Netflix.)
I'm still stuffed from lunch so I told Cindy I'm skipping dinner tonight.

Britbox - thats a new one to me. Kinda like hulu for british tv.
