13.15   Just wanted to see if I was anywhere near ready for a half. Um, no. It didn't help that it was 75 at the start and 85 at the finish and I tripped on some bad pavement causing both knees to be bloody. But I did the distance so there is that.

1) ‘Tis but a scratch
2) You ran further than The Beard

‘Nuff said. That’s a banner day in my opinion.

18 miles with 4 miles at Marathon-ish pace. Hope my gallbladder doesn't explode like last year!

This has been a good week running wise and the expanded daylight has provided lots of good opportunities to train outdoors in the heat.

Friday, I normally run indoors on Friday but his week it was light enough I felt ok heading outdoors for 3 miles before my weights.

Yesterday I put in 11 at a pace that ws a little uncomfortable at times in the heat. It wasn't super speedy but my goal is push myself a little on hot days so that I will not be suffering quite so much come my next race.

Today 6.5. (Thank goodness for friends crazy enough to go a couple of extra miles when they originally planned to do 4.) I felt a little queasy after the run, but I walked around and had a few pieces of fruit from a Mother's Day spread the store was providing and it really helped me feel better. Usually the last thing I want to do after a hot run is eat anything but I think I needed that fruit.

It's cold here again! :mutmad:

Happy Mothers Day!

Could you send some of that cold here please? We are having July weather (minus the awful humidity) in May.

8.2 miles at BQ pace today.  13 day run streak.

I wouldn't say it was a great run, but it did suck just a little less than last week, so I'll count that as a victory.

Going out for dinner later to celebrate the day.
