It's too early to be tired for next week, isn't it?
Can't seem to catch a break. A may have a port infection (yes, again) that could require an ER visit and possible hospitalization, but waiting on a call back from the infectious disease doctor. Which is all (not) fine and (not) good except that she has an appointment with a specialist in [other city] bright and early on Monday morning. She's been on the schedule for close to a year to get this appointment, so it can't be rescheduled and can't be missed. This doc is basically her last hope for ideas to deal with her GI problems. I have volunteered to drive her because A can't drive very far on her own, Mom isn't up to doing much driving either, and Dad can drive but he's not terribly useful for understanding what a doctor says and taking notes. Assuming the possible infection doesn't derail everything, I need to do about a half-dozen errands and end up at A's house tomorrow evening so we can leave her house around 5am on Monday. In ideal conditions, it's about 2.5 hours each way to get to the doctor, but there are supposed to be thunderstorms all day Monday.
Then China sis and family will be back probably Tuesday evening (and staying until they find a place to rent) and surgeon sis will be in town this coming weekend.
Oh, and I'm already tired because I worked all day today and am planning to do a long run tomorrow morning.
