4 days in a row for me starting the daily.  Don't get used to it.

What's going on this lovely Saturday?

This post kidney stone stuff is for the birds.   Yesterday was not a good day.  I went to bed at 6:15 and slept until 6 this morning.  I'm pretty much only comfortable standing or lying down.  Pretty hard to take for this formerly active person.   Yada yada, this too shall pass.

Currently drinking coffee, eating cinnamon toast and watching what Pres. Trump is up to on the news.

Lee gets to take over the dog walks today and buy the groceries.  This could shape up to be a sweet day.

Mike - are you out there?  Did you have school yesterday?

Wow Dawn.  Usually trying to pass the stone is rough.  "This too shall pass"

I have to do some weekend work, so I got up early and got things going.  Then off to the park for a 3.2 mile run. I was a little sore after the 8 yesterday (which is my long run distance at the current time.)

Back home to do some more work.

Then coffee & book study with the guys.

And now back at work for a bit.  What I am doing is going to take days to complete but once it is going I don't have a lot to do. All I'll have to do is check on the progress during the day. We only want to keep 10 years of medical claims on the system so I am deleting anything older than that. I did this a few years ago so we're back up to 13 years worth of stuff.  Just short of 20 million claims to delete (and all their many pieces.)

I had a couple glitches the first time I did this (a few years ago) but I plugged those holes and it should run ok this time. Last time I had to get a bunch of stuff off the back-up tapes that shouldn't have been deleted and restore it to the system. Hey, who knew that we were doing credits on 15 year old claims!? I sure didn't...

Work has been dominating me lately and my only vacations for the past year or two have all been visiting family with lots of driving/road time. I like visiting family, but I would like to squeeze in a couple days for myself this year. Maybe a mid-June half somewhere.  Not too far away, but somewhere I could find a quiet place and make a long weekend out of it. I'll look around at Kentucky, Virginia, and Pennsylvania races.  Maybe even Ohio, but I don't like Ohio that much so I doubt I'll go there. : pbbt:

Heck Dave, go to Gettysburg or Antietam.  Don't  worry bout a race.   Go in late May or early June.  Or  Rocky Gap State Park near Cumberland MD has cabins.  There is also the casino resort there.

Gettysburg is a great idea. I've been wanting to visit there. I visited Antietam during my trip to the JFK 50.

When I saw you starting the daily I thought oh Dawn is the official daily thread starter.:laugh::laugh:

It was a lovely morning run, a tad chilly but the sun was out. Now the clouds and cooler air have moved in : pbbt:

Ran/walk nearly 3 miles this morning in SHORTS!! Yes you heard that right. Felt so wonderful running in shorts!! Yay!!! I know it is short lived. Then I worked in the yard some. The yard is such a mess from the storms most days I look at it and say meh! and go inside. Got the front garden cleaned up. Amazing the green things popping out of the earth under all the dead leaves. My legs feel really tired I am looking forward to a rest day!!!

I joined Greenpeace again after I don't know how many years. the most wonderful two young people came to the door. They were so cute...they said "your house is so Feng Shui"  the girl said I love this house. Chris' mom had all these prisms in the kitchen that reflect the light so I added some in the doorway. We have a lot of windows so the light reflects and dances all over the house.

So that's all I have this lovely Saturday.

Spectacular Saturday.  81 and no humidity!!!:cool::cool:   I ran to my blood test today.  I rolled the script and put a band around it like a baton on a relay race.  Is blood different immediately after running.  Yes O2 and CO2 are likely. what about other chemicals?

Really neat march for peace in town today.  Sikhs honored me by wrapping a turbin on my head.  The energy going up Main St was similar to race energy.  People cheering.  Sadly some jeers and heckles.   Amazing collection of faiths, beliefs, cultures.   So good for our Muslim community to join in.  Their speaker was outstanding.

Happy weekeend:grin:
