Nice and warm last night, and instead of gusty cold winds we had a proper breeze. Yeah for 70's, yeah for sweat. Anyways, 7 for me and the Lady last night on the easier side of the lake. Trails were dry and the mountain bikers are back again. Blue bells are just starting to bud as well. Just like that, spring. Spiffy run for me these days. 72 minutes at what felt like near tempo effort (70 is my fun barrier on this route in days gone by). That effort would have bought me 65 minutes 16 months ago but hey baby steps, and it felt great not to shuffle.

I'll plan to get 7 or 8 in this evening on other side of the lake. Might jump into a local 10k trail race tomorrow (Swamp Creek Stomp). Suspect it's a 2 loop course but it's in a open space nearby I've never visited. Shocking.

My boss just resigned today. Nice guy. Did not micromanage. I am not sure I can count all my managers during my tenure here. A dozen or more I suspect. New guy I've dealt with before but not as a direct report.

Have a good race if you run it!

I hope your bosses resignation doesn't mean trouble at your company?

I hope you like the new boss.  Good luck if you run the SCS.

I hope the new boss is same as the old boss for you.

It sounds like your running is going well. I hope you can do the 10K. It sounds interesting.

Have fun on the trail. Snow is staying north of you I hope.

Yes.  As of right now, TWC is showing rain all day today and tomorrow.  I may end up running roads, which is something that would benefit me more anyway.

It warmed up to 70 yesterday (Thurs) and today (Fri), but temps are supposed to drop back into the 30s and 40s during the weekend.  (NE Indiana)

I got nothing! But I am posting anyway, you can't stop me! : pbbt:

Vball last night went well, we won all 3 games, yay! I wasn't as creaky from the marathon as I thought I would be, but I didn't play all out. We were playing the last place team in the league, so we barely broke a sweat. It was a good way to get back into the swing of things.

I will run tomorrow, probably my easy 5 mile loop. It is gorgeous here today and it's supposed to be gorgeous tomorrow too. Finally!

How far and what pace?
Parent - By Spingoddess [us] Date 2018-04-13 3:03 PM
I'm doing 17, he's doing 12ish? But we're doing loops so you can jump off at 5 or whenever! Slow pace, around 10mm. I plan to refill my tailwind at my car when we loop around.

90 minute endurance spin this morning. Killer.  It's amazing how a few small adjustments to seat or handlebar height increases output so drastically. Some dog walking. It was hot out!:hug: I hear a rumor it won't last though, but for today, I'll take it. I'm lookin forward to a long run in Saddle River Park tomorrow morning. Homemade mac n cheese tonight.

2 miles of running and 5 miles of walking. Gorgeous day so P and I went out in the jogging stroller. Ran some, then we stopped for an hour to play in the creek and feed the geese, and then we walked a bunch. Such a nice day.
