Dr. checkup this morning. Routine.
Post.

Friday I did 2.5 hours of volunteer work at the library.
Saturday I did the stairs here at home, then did 50 minutes on the TM downstairs.
Sunday DC and I went to the gym. I did a light, easy 45 minutes on the track.
Today I’m off to have my GYN check early. I plan to run later on.
Safe and happy runs, All!

Good job getting it done. Has the weather been as challenging where you are at as it has in Kansas City?

Yes, icy here and slush that freezes. I've been running inside a lot.
But there is hope! My mantas in my inside garden are putting out new leaves. The African violets are getting rid of some older leaves as well.

I had a good run yesterday on the Treadmill. I did 1 mile warm up, stopped and did some static stretches, then resumed with one mile of 100 meter strides followed by 6X400 and a mile cooldown. That was a solid 6 miles and my first real attempt at speedwork this year. I normally get outside a few days per week. I had only 2 short runs outdoors due to weather conditions.

Spring has sprung.  Overnight low of 60*F and exceedingly humid.  The daffodils are starting to bloom as well.  I did have a decent run, despite the gross humidity.

Some of our trees are starting to leaf out. We haven't HAD a winter!

It sounds like your growing season is about 10 months long. It was that way in VA when we went there in 1969.

We could use a little spring here.  I always think nice days are such a tease in February.

Hi Forumites! Quick check in. The forum was down every time I tried to post last week (I think it was last week).

4.5 miles at lunch today. The knee I fractured in 2016 is acting up a bit, so I need to make an appointment with my orthopedist. The runaway crazy train at work continues. I have some very promising leads with former colleagues in the public schools, so I am hopeful.

Hope to be around more... it seems like time just gets away from me all the time these days!

I am glad you are still running. It was about 2 weeks ago that the forum was down for about a week.  I wasn't sure what was going on.

Glad you decided to check in .

3.6 this morning, windy but nothing like yesterday morning.

Had hoped to get to the gym at lunch but I had a meeting. Work interferes with running!

Yes, work DOES interfere with running. Great work on the 3.6 miler!

Work interferes with EVERYTHING!

I feel guilty if I don't let work interfere with running every now and then!
