Snowing. You'd think it was winter here.
Tuesday turned out to be my best run this week. I ran out to the Evil Hill. (It was glad to see me.) Up and down went great and there was no pain in the knee going downhill. The exercise of squeezing the ball with my legs worked to stop the downhill pain and strengthen the adductors. Yaaaaaaaaaaaay!
Today I may have to run inside although I am loathe to do so.
Safe and happy runs, All!
Glad your knee felt good.

I've always had a rule that if I don't want to workout, I do the first 5 min, and if I still don't, I'm allowed to stop. In 15 years of running I think I stopped twice. Well, today was a stop day. I got up to do yoga, started out, and just wasn't in it. So I stopped.
May I steal that rule?

Of course. It is a good motivator for me, because the hardest part of any workout is getting on your shoes (or at this point in my life, getting into 48* water!!)
I am still amazed at how you tolerate those temperatures.
Same rule here, especially when you get outside 5 minutes out plus 5 minutes back I usually just keep going. I think I've quit maybe 2-3 times ever using this rule.
Adjusting to this huge weather change! 4 miles yesterday and 7 today, was written as a speed work but being on vacation I'm just covering miles. Got rained on for 15 minutes during my run and felt amazing
