How convenient you have a 1/2 marathon course on the way to work.

It was definitely a less than direct route.
Near the end I could see that I was going to hit right at 13 and decided to go down one more block so that I could hit that distance.
Sorry to say that you are not correct today, at least not yet.
Ok. How about 3 dimes a nickel and 8 pennies?

Took the morning off of work since blazergirl was heading back to college this afternoon. Did 45 minutes on the elliptical and then went to circuit training class with her....we got use the sledgehammer on the giant tire today! I love that workout!
I currently pass time on the elliptical while watching Scandal. I am up to Season 5, Episode 1.....that show is just ridiculous, but I only have 36 more episodes on Netflix to go! Until they put the current season which is on ABC and I am sure is also ridiculous.

I managed to get in 5 miles today. First run in a while as I've been fighting an infection.

I enjoyed beating the tire too.
I have never beat a tire. I might like it as long as I don't have to carry a tire and run with it.
We also did another exercise where we had to repeatedly pick the tire up over our head and slam it down to the floor. Good ole-timey exercises today!
Did I mention that like the fluidity or running? That just seems a little jarring for me.
One walking mile and hip & shoulder exercises. 1400 meter swim.
It's late in the afternoon here and STILL 62 degrees! Cold front coming in overnight and isn't likely to be above freezing again until next Friday
Swimming is a great exercise. Walking is ok too.
Started out with a plan for 4 miles. About a 1/4 mile in I felt something almost like a thump on the back of my leg... about 4" above my knee. There is no pain but there is definitely tightness in my hamstring. I can walk fine but I feel it. I feel it more when I bend over or walk down the stairs.
I have iced it a couple times.
No ideas, but I think you did the right thing by scaling ack.
6 miles on the treadmill to test my hammy. It still isn't right but felt better than a couple days ago.
I hope it's even less noticeable on your next run.
5 miles this morning.
It got warm, and that’s when the footing can get tricky. What was packed snow turned into uneven and slippery ice. Combine that with low visibility due to darkness, throw in some puddles/small lakes of slushy cold water and...not the most enjoyable running conditions. I’m hoping most of the ice is gone before tomorrow’s planned long run.
Be careful out there. Thought sounds tricky.
4 miles plus 45 minute spin class.
Then just a shit day of walking dogs in the pouring rain.
Got home and changed right into my PJs, not going anywhere tonight!
Sounds like a downside. I hope your next dog walk is in better conditions.
I made it to the gym ran 2 miles and did some weights and abs. I was not loving getting up at 4:15 but it was a necessary evil. I have slacked on weights and abs over the holidays which always makes me feel soft and wimpy. Can't have that.
I try to make 4:30 the earliest I get up......4:29 is too hard, let alone 4:15!
I go with 4:15 just to avoid saying I got up at 4:00 am.
