Thursday I did 35 minutes on the gym track. It was quieter since it was around lunch time. Today our dreadful cold wind chill got worse. We are holed up here for the next several days except for several volunteer hours at the library today. I’ll probably do the TM tomorrow.

Back to -20 windchill here :cry: 11 miles on the treadmill this morning. Seriously I am so over this winter already! At this rate I wil be out of Netflix shows to watch before February.

Yesterday leg day and core, my goal this year is the get back to consistent strength workouts especially early in marathon training.

Impossible to run out of Netflix shows! DH and I are loving "American vandal" and "the good place" right now. Also "reign." Good work - 11 TM miles is no joke!

Really pleasant here today. I ran with Niall yesterday and then T-bone and I went to smite practice. It was not a particularly vigorous practice, and I didn't get a lot of bouts in, but that was just right for my current level of stamina. I did just enough fights to make me sweat and work out, and then did some drills to perfect a shot I am trying to master.

Woke up in the middle of the night with sore muscles all over. It's been a while since that happened! But oh, I slept well once I went back to sleep.

It was too windy, cold, and icy to try running outside, so I did a trainer ride for 30 minutes. No work today because schools were closed and I moved my other students to different days. It was nice having another day off since I felt like I didn't have much of a Christmas break.

4.3 miles and my 30 min of yoga. 5/5 for January so far! Cold cold here, brr! Glad to have the TM as an option.

No dailies for me for the past four days because I got slammed with this nasty flu bug. It has been years since I have had the flu and I forgot how horrible it is. My entire family is down with it, too (Mom, stepdad, DH, brother). Oscar is taking care of DH and me by snuggling with us. :hug:

3.2 this morning, solo, and 6.16 on the TM at lunch. Still holding to the eating plan. This weekend will be the test of Dry Veganuary.
