Happy Day after no deal Cyber Monday. Tell us your day.
QOTD? Are you still chomping on turkey or is the turkey talking to you? How about that last piece of pumpkin pie?
A beautiful day in Delaware. My run was anything but beautiful. But there is always tomorrow.
Lynda was called for jury duty today. She took lots of reading material. No phones allowed in courthouse. That has to be torture for some folks.
I bought a snow blower and firepit at Lowes on Black Fday. Went to pick it up. Got the blower but they could not find the pit. While waiting a friend sees me standing with the snow blower. "Tom put that back. I'll sell you mine for $50. I just got a bigger one." They could not find my firepit and I returned the blower. Save $300.
Duck In this afternoon.(table on the church sidewalk, give out Duck Donuts and a blessing to UofD students walking by). Was going to use the firepit but don't need it at 65 degrees.
QOTD Still lots of turkey here. Lots of it from the Leftover Feast.

Ohhh Tom, you lucked out big time! I'd love for someone to sell me a snow blower for $50!
They are well over $500 up here, so with the remodel, it's not high on my list. Yet.
A remote auto starter will be first.
Bummer on the fire pit though, did they order another one for you? Lowes has been my second home.

Good morning and thanks for starting the daily.
My heart is a little heavy this morning. Received a text our family friend passed away. She was 56 and was battling brain cancer. Her son lost his Father in March of this year and now has lost his Mother.
Just returned from a 3.5 mile PW with my friend this morning.
QOTD - Any leftover pies were thrown away on Sunday. But I did make turkey with rice last night and it was very tasty.

I am so sorry about your friend. A hard time.
Thank you for your condolences. Cancer is such a cruel disease. I come from a small town and the number of women that have been diagnosed with cancer is unbelievable.
Her name was Margaret P and she dated my older brother years ago. She loved hanging around with my Mom. So now they are in heaven -- both pain free!
I'm so sorry about your friend. She was so young.
Hi Tom. I need to run this afternoon. It will be a short one - Misha has a wild hair and is refusing to be kenneled for very long. I just got back from a hair cut and she about knocked me over when I let her out.
Amy called last night nearly in tears. She took home 1/2 a pumpkin pie and it had molded.
I guess I neglected to teach my daughters the art of refrigeration. So....with the pumpkin pie now in the trash, the leftovers are gone.
I am thinking of putting white twinkle lights on an ornamental tree in the front yard. I know for a fact my husband will come home from work and re do it. Wondering if I should even bother but it's a warm day and I'd like to be outside.
Good Tuesday all!
You can come put up my lights while I out this afternoon. I won't re do a single thing.
A wild hair? or caught a wild hare? or wants to chase after a wild hare?
go for it. string those lights.

Oh don’t bother. Lee is sure to “fix” it. Lol. Too funny about Amy...
Beginners guide to hanging lights.
1. On the living room floor they will all light. They will all lay nicely.
2. Outside they enable their self-tangling mode. And 1/2 of them burn out.
3. You really are too short, take a ladder.
4. Strangers will stop and chat and give advice.
5. Your dog will knock down the baby gate, romp through the living room, and slobber on your front door window while barking madly at your crazy light hanging antics.
check up day at the dr.

"Dirty German" one of my many nicknames.
yay for running. You heal fast. You run fast.
Good luck to Josh.
will you use some "return to running" plan or will you just wing it?
dunno. yet. as usual I will take it slow. I still have my foot to deal with.
5am Gym with Sam. hour of lifting. 6.27 mile run home.
QOTD-still have a bit of turkey and stuffing left, everything else is gone.
No leftovers. We had dinner with my son’s in-laws. It was great. I did make some chicken soup last night.
Working out has been a little iffy lately. Had a knee scare but it was mostly all in my head...
Work is interfering with my workouts. May “retire” again soon.
please retire and hang out here more often. Glad the knee is ok.
