I think October is my favorite month of the year. The air is cool, winter is still a ways off, hockey season starts, and my running usually improves and becomes more enjoyable.

And so I start my favorite month with a rest day.
My left calf feels sore and tender like a bruise. This week will be a lot of time on the ARC trainer. But I don't feel like I lose anything. In fact, I can workout longer without raising my heart rate too high which can be an advantage in aerobic exercise.
I woke up early so I've got time to sit around, drink coffee, and read this morning before church.
Looked at my thermometer. 39°!

60 degrees here and I think that is a perfect way to start October!
