Happy Friday to you Masters. How was your run/workout/day? What are your weekend plans?
QOTD? Will you be cooking/eating anything special this weekend?
Rolling back the wake up time a little more to get more day into my day. I was originally taking today off from running, but did an easy run-walk. Real stiff to start but felt good by the end and wishing I had gone longer and harder. (is that code like
Breakfast all week has been fresh peaches and blueberries topped with yogurt and some Special K to add crunch.
Lynda's niece and daughters is stopping by today. Haven't seen her in almost 10 years. Kids are 3 &5 and will take them to meet their Great Mummum. It will be a surprise for Lynda's mom.
Car fix yesterday. Would start and then stall in 2 seconds. Google and Youtube automotive helped fix the problem. Replace fuel filter. Supposed to take 15 minutes took and hour and 15.
Cooking some ribs this weekend. Concert in park Sunday, US Navy Country Current. Looking forward to it.
Tom in DE
Good morning Tom. Tomorrow evening we might try to attend Venetian Night on the riverfront. People will decorate their boats with Christmas lights and have a parade of sorts. an Italian restaurant will have an outdoor cafe set up for finger food and I'm sure one of the local bars will be there with fancy drinks to purchase. It includes live music of some sort though I'm not sure of the band. Winds up with a few fireworks shot over the river at dusk. We haven't been in the past because it is usually too dang hot. Tomorrow evening promises to be perfect.
No workout yet today. I think I'll get my bike out for 30 minutes or so and then do some strength training. Just another lazy summer day.
Love those Riverfront Festivals. This one sounds really good.
This is tax free weekend in Texas so the malls/stores will be inundated with shoppers. I am staying away from that madness.
And I know this sounds crazy for a Texan to say, but as I left Mass this morning it felt like fall!
If you are traveling like our friend Dave, safe travels!
Enjoy your Friday!
QOTD -- it is Hatch chile season, so maybe I'll get a Hatch chile burger!
Every day is tax free shopping in Delaware. That's why the malls are always a madhouse.

Routine 8 miles this morning. Tomorrow I hope to make it a trail run in the woods.
I need to cut the grass this weekend. Takes about an hour. Then trim the weeds. That's my only weekend must-do.
QOTD: Not that I know of.
Doctor Dementia ... yes
Can you meet these 2 challenges (while your running)?
We've seen this with the letters out of order, but this is the first
time we've seen it with numbers. Good example of a Brain Study: If
you can read this OUT LOUD you have a strong mind. And better than
that: Alzheimer's is a long long, way down the road before it ever
gets anywhere near you.
