Tell us your good news. I need to get dressed and go help with the mail again this morning.
Good news is this beauty of a day. Chamber of Commerce Weather. Pick of the Week.. Fresh Catch of the day. You name it. Sunshine, low humidity and warm.
I pushed out of bed much earlier to pleasure in a morning run-walk and it felt mighty good today. I was able to go a little longer and harder than usual and the feet cooperated today.
Only plans today are to enjoy the day. May include concert in park Trop Rock and Island

sounds perfect Tom. Except that I'm not there. You and Lynda and I could be drinking WaWa coffee for a chamber of commerce poster! Your evening sounds a little Jimmy Buffet-ish. Break out the Hawaiian shirt.
ummmm dial up a perfect day. pays to be you! enjoy all of it.
Happy for you with the feet and run. Concert in the park sounds like a nice evening.
get dressed and help with the males?

I was thinking undressed to help with the males.
Ran 14.23 miles this morning. 4 miles easy. 8@GMP of 7:38 actual splits: 7:38, 7:25, 7:33, 7:34, 7:34, 7:21, 7:32, 7:26. 2 miles easy.
Weather was great for running. Now I need to find something to eat and do some work.
2017-08-09 7:29 AM
The heck with work. A good run is more important than work any day of the week!
damn. that's some good running my friend.
seems i need to work on my pacing. i was a bit frisky this morning.
You are killing it. Every GMP run. Nice work.
Dang. Speedy Gonzales. Flash Gordon. Allthingsfast.
Watching the rain in Atlanta as I get ready to leave. Hopefully it won't be a problem when I get there.
Checked into work but there were no fires burning.
Got to get the kid awake and moving soon.

hope the rain stops for your drive. day three success
My good news is that Amy had an exciting interview yesterday. There are many candidates in the running and I know better than to get my hopes up too high but this one seems like a good fit for her. Right now she has 30+ applications out, 5 interviews, and 0 offers. We could use your prayers. We are both wearing thin on this particular life adventure.
Today is day 5 I believe of mornings in the 50's topping out to low 80's for the heat of the afternoon. Low humidity, windows open, perfect. Just a lovely August. Iced and rolled my feet last night and don't have any new issues. It will be a yoga day though I will wear shoes to protect my PF. Real yoga people would laugh but I am perfecting the art of running-shoe-yoga.

Good luck to Amy. I could never go barefoot in a public place so I could never take a Yoga class.
Hoping this is the job for Amy! I was thinking this morning that the temps are very nice here for August.
My good news it that today the snow on top of my head goes bye bye!
good run. 11.1 miles. lovely morning. 60's low everything.
I lost two pounds!!! very proud of myself. weight loss has been EXTREMELY difficult for me as of late. Even eating cleanly.
nice running by you too! go Team Monster Mash
I know what you are talking about. So darn difficult anymore. I like they way you think, and that is my main problem, I gain between training sessions. Need to just stop. I am addicted to sugar for sure.
Good news: Danny got the boat off and back on the mooring alone. The grands are here. It's sunny and supposed to be in the high 70s and the humidity is gone. Planning on a run/walk and a hike with the kiddos. Then some book time on the beach.

Woo Hoo Dottie. Life is Good.
Life is good.
SO glad to hear this!
As much as I enjoy summer break it is good to see the kids again at school. First day for the kids. I am also driving a short afternoon bus route again. It's just a few minutes up the road a mile than back. I drop off about 35 kids at mobile home park. Also starting CC Monday. Back in the saddle.
Another 8 miles this morning. Bright moon.
Makayla drove to school today. No more school bus. I worry about her driving with all the morning traffic. It's a 14 mile drive on good roads, but a lot of traffic. She keeps reminding me that she will be 18 in October.

First day excitement!
18! it is so hard to let go! Good Dad. I say the exact same things. I wish they would stay little and under my roof.
18? Let her drive the bus while you go coach.
Still can't believe you're back teaching.
Letting go is impossible.
My kids are 31 and 33 and I still worry about them in the most elementary ways.

Leg 3a is in the books. Pretty good drive but my neck was tired today. Even Atlanta cooperated for a change. Slow traffic for about 30 minutes but otherwise no problems. It's a Festivus miracle.
Walked a couple blocks from the hotel to Taco Mac for dinner. Best wings I've ever had. Annabelle loved her tacos. Taco Mac is a restaurant that started in Buffalo, NY.
4 hours to Tallahassee tomorrow.
Look at you! You are doing fantastic.
