Here's hoping you don't have any tyranny in your life.
Post.

Monday morning was a good 45 minute run on the trail. My sit bones/glutes are really sore, like I hate to sit down sore. I had to sit for a while on a concrete bench on the trip and they are ouchie. No pain on the run though. Evidence of coyotes was out there. They were very quiet during the very hot spell.
Today I am off to the trail. It is nice and cool outside.
Safe and happy runs, All!

Why are your sit bones hurting -- stress from the run?
Parent - By judyruns Date 2017-08-08 11:17 AM
Sitting on a concrete bench when on the island. Not enough padding since I've been running outside all year. It really IS harder to run outside than on an inside track or TM. I had been inside for most of many years.

Rode home yesterday from work and then did some ab work.  I did two almost push ups too.  Didn't go as far down as I should, but I maintained form and I didn't fall on my face like I did 3 weeks ago.  Progress!

Today I rode to the trainer in the sprinkling rain (1.5 miles).  30 minutes of legs, while watching it pour.  Decided to ride home, shower, and then drive into work.  I don't mind riding in the rain, but hadn't thought about dry clothes and shoes to ride home in later, and there was NO FREAKING WAY I was gonna put dripping wet socks and shoes back on tonight.  And I didn't cover my seat so it was squishy wet when I sat on it - gross.

You're right -- ugh on putting wet gear back on. And on squishy seats.

about 4 miles this morning.  I have a great set up by my laundromat.   Put the laundry in the washer, go run 2.5 miles.   Put the laundry in the dryer, go run some more.

I've done that too when doing laundry. Oil change runs also work. Or prescription runs. Or anything where you have to drop something off and then pick it up later. Does Boog go to classes that you can make into a run session? I did a lot of runs while my kids were at taekwondo.

LOL - funny that you mention that.

My Saturday runs are:

Walk DD to Tae Kwon Do which is a block from the park.
Run around the park to the track which is on the far side and do 2 miles on the track
Run back to pick her up, picking up a Gatorade on the way which we share.

Don't get me started on tyrants...

3.7 miles with RN this morning. Tempo run since we both had to get back on time. Puff pant.

My schedule frequently dictates how fast I run.
Parent - - By noquitter [us] Date 2017-08-08 11:24 AM
I met a friend for a run and she typically does 6-8 so we did 8.35. I am off work today and she is off for the summer.

Yay for the 8.35!
