More rest. Hoping it will help me have a decrace tomorrow. 5Ks are not easy for me.

Good luck on the 5k!  If it's easy, you are doing it wrong.

Did a great yoga class lastnight. It was a backbend class. Felt great. I miss moonglow!

Swam this morning. The pool was heated again, but still really cloudy.  I may need to talk to them, this can't be healthy!

Yoga sounds good.  The pool sounds icky.

Backbends were hard when I was a kid. I remember walking down a wall with my hands.

Hill workout went well last night - as well as almost puking after struggling up a grass mountain 6 times can go : pbbt:

New shoes  I ended up with Brooks Ghost. I tried the Brooks Glycerin & Asics Nimbus but both have a narrower toe box and I'm cursed with a narrow heel but wide forefoot so going up a width size causes more problems than it fixes. Some niggling pains at the top of my right shin & 4th left toe but for now I'm ignoring on the basis of (a) grass mountain and (b) 16 yrs of stability shoes are bound to take a while for my feet to shake off. I'll give it a month for niggles to reduce (obviously shorter if there's pain)

Knee didn't complain about the hill, even the downhill, albeit my legs were burning & wobbling so bad it was hard to differentiate where it hurt more. Still icing (including cake according to my thinks-he's-funny colleague ) and elevating on a box under my desk.

Today is a SDO except for my physio exercises and hopefully there's no fire alarm tonight :mutmad: and I'm good for 2 longer runs this weekend

I have moved to cushioned shoes and don't regret it. I don't know that pronation is a life sentence.
