I didn't even notice the new one
I much prefer stationary smilies to the ones that bop around the screen.
Yeah, I missed them too. Atlhough I have to type them in manually if I want to use them at work, where I have Safari.
See, it works perfectly! I just typed "meh" with two colons. and I love the word "meh" so it works even better for me!
I don't know why, but I feel like they are long lost friends. I really need to get out more.
I've actually caught myself making those faces when I'm talking to real people...
Hey, wait a minute, WE'RE real people with real feelings!!
(Just kidding. We're all robots :))

Hi Annie !
is real cool... I just still do not understand why
So, the new guy...
It says he's "mischief"...but I really think he looks more like "lecher" Sort of a more subtle version of the devil guy...
But why can't I insert them in my message? The only one I can get is smiley and winky and only if I type in a colon or semi colon, a dash and a parenthesis.
Do you have them turned off in your "Options" menu?
Hmph. I can't imagine why you can't use them. All I do is click on one in the little row above this reply message. You don't see that?
Yeah, I've got the faces, but when I put my mouse over them it is just an arrow and nothing happens when I click. It is very upsetting.
Try typing : the name of the smilie :
like this : evil : but with no spaces.
I hate to sound like an idiot, but I do not know the names. They do not show up if I hold the mouse over them. Is there some way to get them? Even if I right click, I only get the view image...list.
Ok, where is the dumb emoticon. I don't even know what that is, but I don't think I am using it. Just coming in via netscape as I always have.
Must be an option in your browser (netscape) that has them blocked... did you check your preferences?
In order of appearance,
Just add a colon to the front of each name. Try it and see what happens.
That's the noise you make when you stick your tongue out at someone and go, well, pbbbtt! So that's the tongue sticking out emoticon.
I didn't realize I was being so rude when I used that one.
I thought it ws kind of a laughing at yourself emoticon.
Tongue sticking out. One of my favs

isn't new, it just wasn't in the choices on the old RW - it was a "secret" smiley
The old code was : \ but it doesn't work now
You can still use the old code for most of the smileys (take out the spaces)
: ) :)
