Up Topic General / Nutrition / Wheat Thins Toasted Chips Review

Some thoughts on this product:

- These are not really either chips or Wheat Thins, but are called Wheat Thins chips.  Confusing!
- The flavor is reminscent of Chicken-in-a-Biskit (a plus in my book), but no chickens were harmed to make these chips.
- Salty, even by chip standards.
- Snack innovation has its positive and negative aspects.

= 7.5/10.0

Is it available in Canada? :wtf: I'm guessing not. We never get good snack product here.

HI TJ!

It is unclear but the Wiki entry below suggests that Canada enjoys several varieties of thin unavailable in the US, so turnabout is perhaps fair play.  :wtf::happy::hug:

I think the Cinnamon Wheat Things might be better for that.  :wtf:

I always liked wheat thins w/ice cream (some people like pretzels, I like wheat thins).

Wheat Thing is a great name for a snack product.

What about a Sociable?  Also somewhat similar.

mmmmm chicken-in-a-biskit is some goooood eats.  they make your fingers and your lips all greasy so they have to be bad for you.  in college we'd all ask for them in care packages.  they are especially good with spray cheese:blush:

they're a good road-trip snack since (as everyone knows) anything consumed on a roadtrip is calorie-free

you are so right about those crackers and easy cheese... good stuff!

I was thinking the other day that they need to put in hummus in a can like that - that would be the SHIT!

There's only one chip for me - the Tostito.  Without Tostitos, I would have no reason to go on.  Modern day paleo cavemen prefer them with cheese, tomato, peppers, and an all natural grain beverage while watching hockey or football.  Multi-grain and Tostito should never be used in the same sentence - heresy.  The multi-grain movement was okay with bread and a few other things but they have gone to far !

I wonder how these things are selling?  I see them in the supermarket sometimes, but they don't seem to have really caught on, somehow.
